I am Toni Mazzotti, a Brazilian musician, researcher, and music technology developer, born into a family of prominent Bossa Nova artists. My work explores the intersection of theory, history, science, and technology, with a particular focus on musical tuning at 432 Hz.

Music has been part of my life since childhood. I am the son of Ana Mazzotti and Romildo Teixeira, Brazilian musicians who contributed to the development of Bossa Nova and Brazilian jazz and were among the pioneers of independent record production in Brazil.

My professional career began in radio and audio production, where I worked with recording, sound design, mixing, mastering, jingles, and soundtracks for radio, television, and film.

Later, I worked as a DJ and became one of the pioneers of the electronic music scene in Ceará. For 13 years, I maintained Cenaceara.DJ, a website dedicated to the development and documentation of the regional electronic music scene, cataloging events and more than 100 artists. I also worked as a music technology columnist and as a radio and podcast host.

Since 2000, I have independently dedicated myself to the study of music, seeking to understand its structures, origins, and relationships with other fields of knowledge. Throughout this journey, musical tuning has become the primary focus of my research.

In 2018, I released the documentary 432 Activists, about the international movement surrounding 432 Hz. Since 2021, I have been contributing to the development and popularization of Robert E. Grant’s Precise Temperament Tuning systems, based on 432 Hz and 528 H.

I am also the creator of 432 528 Tunings, a free educational application for studying, comparing, and experimenting with alternative tuning systems. I currently develop music technologies to apply these systems to contemporary electronic music production.

My own research proposes an extension of traditional music theory through the association of specific frequencies with musical notes and their relationships with mathematics, geometry, and cosmology. I call this framework Absolute Harmony.
