Hello everyone, today I’m launching my website and communicating my professional turn to music.
It’s been 15 years since I’ve been launching my last exclusively musical work, having done mainly audiovisual during this period. But in these years, my biggest investment of time was in studies on music theory, music history, music technology and related sciences.
My initial goal was to make my music, but along the way, I discovered some things I need to show you. So I understood: nothing better than uniting my multimedia knowledge with the production of audiovisual content about music!
About Music Technology, I intend to talk about MIDI, virtual instruments, composition, soundtrack, sound design, restoration, mixing and mastering.
About the History of Music, I will investigate the types and origins of the instruments, about the Music Theory I will discuss tuning, temperaments and two other ways to understand rhythm: the African Addictive rhythm and the science of the rhythm of Indian carnatic music called konnakol.
About Music Science, I will explore its macroscopic connections, such as mathematics, geometry and cosmology, and its microscopic connections, such as acoustics and linguistics.
To make it easier to understand, all my textual and audiovisual content is originally produced in English. The translations available in the header of my site are done automatically by Google Translator. And YouTube videos will always have subtitles in two languages: English and Brazilian Portuguese, which is my native language. This makes the automatic translation of the subtitle into any other language more accurate.
